Preparations for International Yoga day on 21st June are gaining momentum. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been sharing videos of different yoga asanas to create awareness about their benefits.




Ahead of the upcoming International Yoga Day, people across the country are practicing and propagating the ancient discipline in an effort to ensure its success on June 21 when millions are expected to perform yoga in more than 100,000 locations across the country.

The focal point of the celebrations will be Rajpath where nearly 40, 000 people will perform asanas. Led by the Prime Minister, the event will see the participation of top cabinet ministers as well. Security has been tightened around India Gate and its surrounding areas, a traffic advisory has been issued for Rajpath.

In Tripura blind children were seen doing yoga in Narsinhpur.

Chattisgarh saw yoga camps organised across the state for children to learn and practice the ancient discipline.

Preparations for the upcoming celebrations have broken down all barriers of status and religion. In Nagpur in Maharashtra Muslim women were seen enthusiastically taking part in yoga camps.
