Mahatma Gandhi's statue defaced in Rajasthan, 'ISIS zindabad' scribbled on it



A statue of Mahatma Gandhi in Dudu area of Jaipur in Rajasthan was on Monday found defaced by some unknown miscreants, with a warning of possible ISIS attacks on the Republic Day.

The message has created a panic in Dudu area with police saying that efforts are on to ascertain the identity of the people behind it.


According to agencies , 'ISIS zindabad' was scribbled on it."


Additional SP Dudu Sanjay Kumar said the message was written on the back of the statue with paint threatening devastation on January 26.
