Madhya Pradesh BJP in search for a farmer leader , Another Farmers Protest planned for June 16

BHOPAL:Terming Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan's fast (that ended on Sunday) as a “nautanki” (spectacle), an umbrella organisation of 62 farmers' bodies are set to intensify their stir, with a blockade of national highways planned for June 16.

BJP goverment and Shivraj is Rocked by farmers' unrest and is is in search of an influential Kisan leader, who has the charisma to placate to agitating peasants so that rival political parties could not reap benefits from the issue during Assembly polls in 2018.

As the BJP government in Maharashtra announced that it will waive off farm loans, the party in Madhya Pradesh on Monday reiterated its earlier stand that loan waiver was not an issue in the state.
