Vaghela exits Before Gujarat Polls : Amit Shah behind the big blow To Congress ?

Rahul Gandhi's political strategy has created circumstances to make most prominent faces of quit the party. Leader of Opposition in Gujarat assembly Shankarsinh Vaghela quit the Congress party+ on Friday. Vaghela was a BJP rebel who merged his Rashtriya Janata Party (RJP) with Congress 17 years back, as he resigned from the Congress party on his 77th birthday. According to sources He has been asserting before the party high command to hand over reins of the December election battle to him.He denied his ambitions to be projected as the chief ministerial candidate.


Vaghela, however, insisted that he is not going to join BJP. "I am not joining BJP", Vaghela reiterated, insisting that he is a "free bird" now.

"I am dedicating myself to the service of people from today. I will be there for poor, dalits, traders, workers, farmers, fixed pay workers and even poor upper castes", said Vaghela.

According to sources Shah is in direct talks with at least three senior Congress leaders and eight Congress MLAs in Gujarat and with less than six months to go for the Assembly election, the BJP is inching itself more closely towards breaking the Congress. The speculations came after cross voting from Gujrat Congress.
