Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi's car was on Friday attacked with stones and windows were broken by hostile black flag-waving crowds during his tour of a flood-hit town in the Gujarat's Banaskantha district.
Following the attack, Rahul took to Twitter and wrote, "Narendra Modi ji's slogans, black flags and stones will not stop us.... We will put in all our might into the service of people. "
A local BJP leader was arrested today for attacking the convoy.
Jayesh Darji, the general secretary of the BJP’s youth wing in Banaskantha district, was taken into custody hours after Rahul Gandhi and the Congress blamed the BJP and the RSS for the attack.
