The truth behind Vernika Kundu's stalking case

Vernika Kundu has become a national sensation because of her presence of mind and remaining calm during the most adverse conditions that a woman can imagine. Two drunken guys were following her on Tata Safari SUVs. She could have abducted, or had become a case of gang rape in the moving car. However, she maintained calm, kept driving her car and contacted the police. The attackers, belonging to one of the most influential families of Chandigarh, tried to convince her to not register a case and said sorry, but Vernika didn’t think twice before filing FIR. When everyone is calling out Chandigarh Police for being corrupt and coming under political pressure in the current high profile stalking case, Vernika maintained that Chandigarh Police did exceptional work and their swift action saved her. This attitude shows that she is genuinely grieved and doesn’t want to blame anyone just for political purpose.

She is the only female DJ of Chandigarh. She is quite popular and remained in high demand where she is getting contracts from high profile personalities of Chandigarh. She is planning to make it big and shift to Mumbai. The current stalking case has given her enough publicity and there may not be any problem for her to launch her career from Mumbai.

The BJP chief’s son, Vikas Barala, and his friend were arrested on Saturday for stalking and attempting to kidnap an IAS officer’s daughter. The three charges that have been dropped against the two are IPC sections, 341, 365 and 511, reported India Today.

IPC Section 341 deals with wrongful restraint while Section 365 is related to “kidnapping or abducting with intent secretly and wrongfully to confine person.” Section 511 of the IPC relates to “punishment for attempting to commit offences punishable with imprisonment for life or other imprisonment.”

He is out on the bail in a case of harassing and stalking a girl on the road. The girl has shared her ordeal through a Facebook Post. That has, rightly, gone viral and people are crying for his head.

They are literally asking for his public hanging. The ‘roasted chicken’ needs to be eaten when it is hot.

It is also a fact that Vernika's Father was considered a very close bureaucrat to the former CM Hooda. You were sidelined by the new BJP Government. And, it is also a fact that your second daughter has written many acidic articles – replete with misinformation – against BJP on JNU issue in a popular anti BJP online magazine named Scroll.
