Dr KM Abraham appointed new Kerala Chief Secretary




Thiruvananthapuram: Chief secretary of Kerala Nalini Netto is set to retire on August 31. Additional chief secretary of finance, KM Abraham, will take over as the new chief secretary after her retirement.
Abraham who is set to retire this December will serve for a period of only 4 months.

Discussions had already begun to find the new chief for the finance department.

Nalini Netto is from the 1981 batch and took over as chief secretary on April 2.

According to seniority, Amarendra Kumar Dubey and Aruna Sundarajan are next in line. Both are in central deputation and it is not known whether they would return to Kerala.



Paul Antony, who is next in seniority, is likely to be the chief secretary after Abraham.
