Priyanka Gandhi was diagnosed with dengue on Wednesday evening and admitted in Ganga Ram Hospital in Delhi.
The 45-year-old daughter of Congress president Sonia Gandhi is being treated by chest medicine consultant Dr. Arup Basu, reports said.
Priyanka is reportedly improving, media reports added.
This year 657 dengue cases have been reported in India with almost 325 patients from India's national capital. A 12-year-old boy succumbed to dengue a few days back which was the first reported fatality due to the vector-borne disease in Delhi.
