7th Pay Commission: Rajasthan Government Announces Salary Hike For Its Employees



Jaipur, Oct 17: Ahead of the Diwali festivities, Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje announced the implementation of 7th Pay Commission or 7th CPC recommendations for the state government employees. As many as 12 lakh state government employees and pensioners in Rajasthan will now get a salary hike and revised allowances under the 7th Pay Commission.

Rajasthan government employees will receive their hiked salaries as per the recommendations of the 7th Pay Commission from October, announced the state government. “I announced to implement 7th Pay Commission’s recommendations while presenting the 2017-18 budget. I am glad that this is being implemented by October,” the Chief Minister said in a statement.


Recently, Tamil Nadu government approved the recommendations of the 7th Pay Commission for its employees. The state government announced a 20 per cent hike in salaries of its employees with minimum pay fixed at Rs 15, 700 under the 7th Pay Commission.
