Doordarshan cameraperson, two cops killed in Naxal attack in Chhattisgarh’s Dantewada



According to Indian Express , Two policemen and a cameraperson from national broadcaster Doordarshan were killed Tuesday in a Maoist attack in poll-bound Chhattisgarh. Two security officers were also injured in the attack that took place in Dantewada district’s Aranpur village. The police were patrolling in the area when the attack took place.

The Doordarshan team was in Dantewada for election coverage and was moving in vehicles. Two other DD News staffers, including a journalist from Delhi, are reported to be safe.
