National Testing Agency: Candidates who wish to appear for NEET UG 2019, can check the official website of NTA from tomorrow to apply for the same.



he National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) registrations for undergraduate courses will start from tomorrow i.e. November 1, 2018. This year, the National Testing Agency (NTA) will be conducting the exam which is applicable for admission to MBBS/BDS courses in India in Medical/Dental Colleges.

Candidates who wish to appear for NEET UG 2019, can check the official website of NTA from tomorrow to apply for the same.





Steps to register for NEET 2019

Log on to the official website of NTA, www.nta.ac.in

On the homepage, click on the tab which says, 'Medical'

Click on the 'Registration tab' on the next webpage that you see

Fill the application form for NEET UG 2019

Click on Submit button



NTA overtakes CBSE


Earlier, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) used to conduct this exam and now NTA has been given this responsibility.

This is the first time that NEET is being conducted by NTA which is a newly formed body by Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD).


Eligibility Criteria for NEET UG 2019

Candidates who are in the age bracket of 17 years to 25 years as on May 5, 2019, can apply
Students who wish to apply must have completed a full-time course in physics, chemistry, and biology (or biotechnology) at the intermediate level
Knowledge of English Language is also a must
