Authorities of the #CochinUniversityofScienceandTechnology on Thursday granted permission to a section of students in its #Alappuzha campus to conduct 'pooja' for Goddess Saraswati, in a peaceful manner following a protest by them.The Vice-Chancellor of Cochin University of Science and Technology had initially declined students' request for holding a 'Saraswati Pooja', stating that it was a "secular campus."
