Kochi: Veteran politician and Kerala Congress (M) founder-leader KM Mani on Tuesday passed away in Kochi. He was admitted at a Kochi hospital for respiratory illnesses. He was 86-years-old.
The veteran leader was the chairman of Kerala Congress (M), a party that drew clout from Christian voters in central Travancore, mostly Pathanamthitta, Kottayam and Idukki districts. Mani's party is a critical alliance partner of the UDF government in Kerala, led by the Indian National Congress.
