Google has launched TikTok app rival, Tangi: All you need to know



TikTok has a new rival, Google Tangi. The search giant has launched short-form video app to take on TikTok, which was the second-most popular app of 2019. The Tangi app has been developed by Google's in-house incubator, Area 120. "Itís an experimental social video sharing app with quick DIY videos that help people learn new things every day," is how Tangi founder, Coco Mao, describes the app. The app's name is inspired by the words TeAch aNd GIve and "tangible" -ó things you can make
The set time limit for videos on Tangi app is i minute or 60 seconds. However, one can also upload shorter videos. Every video shows the duration on top.As of now, the Tangi app is available everywhere except in the European Union.For now, the Tangi app is available for download only on Apple's App Store (iOS devices) and on the web.Surprisingly, the app is not there on Google's Play Store as of now. Also, there's no word as to when the app will be available for Android users.
