John Oliver's episode about Modi is not available on Indian streaming service


An episode of Last Week Tonight in which the comedian talked about India's controversial citizenship laws has so far not been made available by the Disney-owned Hotstar, the streaming platform which usually carries new episodes of the show. Oliver ended his segment on India by implying that Prime Minister Modi was "an enduring symbol of hate."

The episode aired in the US on Sunday, and would usually drop on Hotstar the following Tuesday
The comedian was previewing President Donald Trump’s visit to India on his Emmy-winning ‘Last Week Tonight with John Oliver,’ which typically airs at 6 a.m. each Tuesday in the Asian nation
