A case of lockdown violation has been filed against MLC Reetlal Yadav at Danapur police station. The officer, Vidhanand Rai, registered a case against 11 people named and unknown, including Reetlal Yadav.
The CO said that a lockdown has been imposed by the government regarding the corona infection. During the lockdown, MLC Reetlal Yadav with 30-40 vehicles converged with his supporters near the Hathikhana Turn. Thus they violated the lockdown and government order. About whom a case has been registered against eleven nominated including Reetlal Yadav and more than hundred unknown.
Police officer Rajesh Kumar Sinha said that the officer has filed a case against Coronas for violating the order during lockdown for violating the order, including Ritlal Yadav, against 11 other unknowns.
In the year 2012, ED had filed a case of money laundering on Ritlal Yadav. It is pending in the special court of MPML. In this case, the ED has produced all his witnesses before the court. Defense witness Ritlal Yadav is presenting his witness. Judicial work in the court has been closed for the last 5 months due to Corona infection, due to which the hearing of this case is closed. Ritlal Yadav, charged in this case for more than seven years, was in judicial custody. The Patna High Court had ordered release from jail on bail on this basis.
Police arrested on 4 September 2010
Reetlal Yadav was arrested by the police on 4 September 2010. After that Reetlal Yadav was continuously lodged in Beur Jail. The High Court was allowed on parole to attend the daughter's wedding for 15 days in between. He was freed from jail on 25 January 2020 to attend the daughter's wedding and then surrendered in court on 10 February.
BJP leader accused in murder case
Ritlal Yadav is also charged in the BJP leader Satyanarayana Sinha murder case, whose trial is going on. Ritlal Yadav also contested the election of Danapur Assembly from jail. He later became MLAC.
Political Career
It is worth noting that when Lalu Prasad Yadav's daughter Misa Bharti was pitted against Lalu's former partner and BJP candidate Ramkripal Yadav during the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, the father and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief, who had a lot of affection for him, Had decided to fill the long leg. Lalu declared Ritlal as RJD general secretary. Ritlal contested as an independent in the 2010 assembly elections and stood second after losing to the BJP candidate. They agreed to support Lalu's daughter, though Misa could not register a victory despite this.
