Dialogues that Bala has co-written with Chandekar are quirky, peppered with comic tone, perhaps the high point of the film that can qualify as a dark comedy.The background score is enchanting too, adding to the fun and drama unfolding on the screen. Monica, O My Darling is a fun weekend watch.
