The India International Science Festival, an annual event organized by the Union Ministry of Science and Technology in collaboration with the Madhya Pradesh government, began on Saturday at Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (MANIT). The aim of the four-day event is to promote science and technology among the general public and celebrate it as a festival. The event was inaugurated by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, who was joined by hundreds of scientists from across the country. ISRO Chairman S. K. Somanath, CMD of Bharat Biotech Krishna Ella, Union Minister of State for Science and Technology Jitendra Singh, and many other scientists will participate in the festival. The event will focus on developing the scientific attitude of students and attract youth to new trends in science by showcasing India's ancient scientific contributions. Additionally, the achievements of Madhya Pradesh's youth in the field of science will be shared on social media and all science colleges, engineering colleges, polytechnics and ITIs in the state will be connected virtually to the festival's activities
