Two Indian Airforce Aircraft Crashes in Morena during Training Exercise, Pilots Eject Safely, Court of Inquiry Ordered.



A tragic incident occurred on 28th January 2023 in Morena, Madhya Pradesh, when two aircraft, a Sukhoi-30 and a Mirage 2000, crashed during a training exercise. The cause of the crash is currently under investigation by the Indian Air Force.

According to reports, the accident occurred at around 10:00 am in the morning and both the aircraft were on a routine training sortie when the crash took place. The pilots of the aircraft were able to eject safely and no casualties were reported on the ground.

The Sukhoi-30 is a multirole fighter aircraft and the Mirage 2000 is a single-engine multirole fighter aircraft of the Indian Air Force. Both aircraft have been involved in several crashes in the past, the main cause being technical faults.

The Indian Air Force has said that it is fully cooperating with the investigation and will take all necessary steps to ensure the safety of its aircraft and personnel. The incident has caused a great loss to the Indian Airforce.
