Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury has written a letter to Lok Sabha speaker Om Birla, expressing his disappointment at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's uncomfortable questions to Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the recent Parliament session. Chowdhury, who is the Leader of the Congress in the Lok Sabha, expressed his displeasure in the letter, stating that Gandhi's questions made the Prime Minister uncomfortable, and were a violation of "the decorum, dignity and respect of the House". He further stated that Gandhi's behaviour goes against the spirit of the "Parliamentary system". The letter, which was also sent to Vice President Venkaiah Naidu, requested Birla to take appropriate actions to ensure that such an incident does not happen again. Chowdhury also requested that Gandhi's behaviour be reviewed, in order to ensure that the sanctity of the House is maintained.
