Supreme Court Scheduled to Review Complaints of Sexual Misconduct Against Wrestling Federation of India Leader.
On December 6th, the Supreme Court of India announced plans to hold a hearing regarding allegations of sexual harassment filed against Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) President, Mr. Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh. This announcement comes following appeals by several decorated athletes, including Ms. Vinesh Phogat, Mr. Bajrang Punia, and Ms. Sakshi Malik, among others, who claim they were subjected to improper conduct at the hands of Mr. Singh and other officials within the WFI.
Specifically, these individuals claim that efforts to bring attention to these incidents through official channels were ignored, prompting their decision to take legal action. In light of these claims, the Supreme Court has instructed law enforcement authorities to present their viewpoint on the situation before it proceeds further. Additionally, pending investigations conducted by both the Indian Olympic Association and a recently formed oversight panel established by the government may provide additional clarity on the matter in due course.
As developments continue in this case, efforts to address allegations of abuse and ensure justice for all parties involved remain paramount.

People who have brought honor to the country by winning many medals are protesting on the streets of the country. Today is the third day of the agitation on Jantar Mantar started by these laymen to get justice against the injustice done to them. The girls are begging for justice in a country where women are given the status of goddesses. Is this correct?”
