Arun Yogiraj is a famous sculptor from Mysuru, India. He is known for creating the idol of Ram Lalla for the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, and the statue of Subhash Chandra Bose for the India Gate in New Delhi . He comes from a family of five generations of sculptors, and has a MBA degree. He has also received several awards and honors for his work.

His father, Yogiraj, is an accomplished sculptor, and his grandfather, Basavanna Shilpi, enjoyed patronage from the King of Mysore. Despite briefly working in a private company after completing his MBA, Arun could not resist the innate calling of sculpting. In 2008, he made the pivotal decision to pursue his true passion and has since flourished in his carving career.

The demand for Arun's artistic creations has surged across different states, with his skills being sought after for crafting statues of notable achievers. Even the honorable Prime Minister of the country, Shri Narendra Modi, has acknowledged and appreciated Arun's exceptional talent. One of Arun's notable creations is the impressive 30 feet statue of Subhash Chandra Bose, which serves as the centerpiece in the grand canopy behind the Amar Jawan Jyoti near India Gate. This masterpiece was commissioned by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to honor Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose's contributions to the freedom struggle on his 125th birth anniversary. Arun's dedication to his craft was further recognized when he gifted a two-feet tall statue of Subhash Chandra Bose to the Prime Minister, earning his appreciation.

Prior to this, Arun Yogiraj showcased his sculpting prowess through various monumental works, including a 12 feet tall statue of Adi Shankaracharya in Kedarnath, a 21 feet tall Hanuman statue in Chunchanakatte, and a 15 feet tall statue of Dr. BR Ambedkar. His repertoire also includes the creation of a white amritashila statue of Swami Ramakrishna Paramahamsa in Mysore, a six feet tall monolithic statue of Nandi, and a 14.5 feet tall white AmritaShila statue of the King of Mysore, Jayachamarajendra Wodeyar, among many others.
