Ayodhya to host international kite festival from Jan 9 to 21

The Uttar Pradesh government is crafting a strategy to host the International Kite Festival in Ayodhya, aligning with the forthcoming consecration ceremony set for January 22.

Preparations for the festival, anticipated to occur from January 19 to 21, are underway, spearheaded by the Ayodhya Development Authority (ADA). This event aims to provide a platform for renowned kite flyers, both national and international, to showcase their artistic prowess.
A government spokesperson mentioned that the ADA will collaborate with a private agency to actualize the event. To facilitate this, the ADA has issued a Request for Proposal, inviting applications for an agency to conceptualize, design, execute, and supervise event management. The chosen agency will also be responsible for developing temporary structures and associated infrastructure for the International Kite Festival in Ayodhya.
