The Bollywood film ‘Sam Bahadoor’, inspired by the life of Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw MC, is now available on Zee 5. The digital rights of the film have been acquired by Zee 5 and it started streaming from last night.
Produced by Ronnie Screwvala under the banner of RS VP Movies, the film features Vicky Kaushal in the lead role, along with Fathim San Sheikh, Sanya Malhotra, Neeraj Kabhi, Edward Son Blick, and Mohammed Seshan Ayub. The film was released in theaters on December 1.
The screenplay was penned by Bhavani Aiyar and Shantanu Srivastava, in collaboration with the director. The film’s music, composed by Shankar Ehsaan, features songs written by Gulzar.
The film pays homage to Sam Bahadur Joshi Manekshaw, the first person to hold the title of Field Marshal (Chief of Army Staff) of the Indian Army. Born on April 3, 1914, he passed away on June 27, 2008.
