Bharti Airtel Stock Surges Over 3% in Early Trading Following Strong Q3 Results: Consolidated Net Profit Grows by 54%

 

Bharti Airtel witnessed a robust start in early Tuesday trade as its share price surged by over 3%, reaching ₹1,147.55 apiece on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE). This upward momentum follows the telecommunications giant's release of impressive third-quarter results.


In the Q3 FY24 financial report, Bharti Airtel reported a consolidated net profit of ₹2,442.2 crore, marking a substantial 54% increase compared to the same quarter in the previous fiscal year. The company's performance was particularly notable, considering the dynamic nature of the telecom industry.

The consolidated revenue for the third quarter stood at ₹37,900 crore, reflecting a noteworthy year-on-year growth of 5.9%. The robust financial figures were underpinned by the commendable and consistent performance of Bharti Airtel's operations in India. The Indian segment contributed significantly to the overall revenue, recording ₹27,811 crore, a substantial 11.4% increase compared to the same quarter in the preceding fiscal year.
