CM Revanth to open Aramgarh flyover on December 3

 

Hyderabad: As part of the "Praja Palana–Praja Vijayotsavalu" celebrations, Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy will inaugurate and lay the foundation for several projects under the Hyderabad Rising initiative on December 3, 2024. These projects are undertaken by the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) and the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB).


The CM will inaugurate the Aramghar to Zoo Park flyover, a six-lane bi-directional structure spanning 4.04 km, making it the second-longest flyover in Hyderabad. This flyover connects Aramghar to the Nehru Zoological Park.

Additionally, six Sewage Treatment Plants (STPs) will be inaugurated at various sites, including Mir Alam (4.5 MLD), Miyapur-Patelcheruvu (7 MLD), Safilguda (5.5 MLD), Fathenagar-1 (133 MLD), Nagole (320 MLD), and Khaja Kunta (20 MLD). Beautification projects worth ₹150 crore within the GHMC limits and rainwater harvesting structures costing ₹17 crore will also be launched.

Foundation stones will be laid for key initiatives such as the Hyderabad City Innovation and Transformative Infrastructure (HCITI) multi-level flyover project at six junctions around KBR Park, HCITI works worth ₹5,942 crore, Strategic Nala Development Programme (SNDP) works costing ₹586 crore, and Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT) projects in Urban Local Bodies.
