Bengaluru, April 17, 2025: A dog breeder’s claim of purchasing a rare Cadabomb Okami wolfdog for Rs 50 crore was debunked as a hoax following an Enforcement Directorate (ED) raid on Thursday. S Satish, a 51-year-old Bengaluru resident, had boasted of importing the alleged wolf-Caucasian Shepherd hybrid from London, sparking widespread attention on social media. The ED, suspecting violations under the Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA), raided Satish’s JP Nagar residence but found no trace of the exotic canine, import permits, or payment records.
Investigations revealed Satish used photos of another dog to fabricate the story, likely as a publicity stunt. No evidence of foreign transactions or ownership was uncovered, and Satish later admitted he only posed with the dog for photos. The ED is probing potential hawala transactions, as no significant bank activity supported his claims. Satish, once a prominent breeder, owns over 150 dogs on a seven-acre farm but is reportedly bankrupt. The raid has raised questions about his financial dealings, with further investigations underway to uncover any irregularities.
