While there still may be some time for the debut of Nokia 5 and 6 smartphones in India, HMD Global, the company which currently manufactures and sells Nokia phones has already tied up with country's leading telecom company to promote the sales of the smartphones.

The company has partnered with Vodafone India to offer free data to the buyers of Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and Nokia 6. The buyers will get free additional 3G or 4G data on the purchase of 1GB data plan. The offer is valid for 3 recharges. "We are delighted to partner with HMD Global to roll out this exciting offer that enables our customers to get the most out of their new Nokia smartphone"," said Sandeep Kataria, Chief Commercial Officer, Vodafone India, said while announcing the offer.
