Ahead of the crucial Assembly election in Gujarat, Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi will start his three-day campaign in the state today.
Since the state police has refused him permission for an open-jeep roadshow citing security concerns, Rahul Gandhi will now cover a small stretch of the the trip in a traditionally decked up bullock cart. The Congress vice-president will cover the Saurashtra region of Gujarat in his three-day trip, starting with a visit to the Dwarkadheesh Krishna temple. From the temple, Rahul Gandhi will drive down to Jamnagar.
