Leonardo DiCaprio worried about Chennai water crisis and India Delhi waste, What about our leaders ?

Recently, the New York Times, a leading news agency in the United States, reported on the drinking water shortage in Chennai. Satellite photo of Pullam Lake, a major drinking water source in Chennai. In that photo, we compare the amount of water in the lake on June 15, 2018 and the amount of water in the lake on Sunday, June 2019. About 46 lakh people in Chennai have been referred to the Pular Lake for providing water.

Hollywood star Leonardo DiCaprio posted on his Instagram: "Only rain can save the people of Chennai from a famine."

"Only rain can save Chennai from this situation." A completely empty well, and a city without water. Four major water reservoirs have completely dried up and the south Indian city of Chennai is in crisis.

Severe water shortages are mandatory for emergency solutions and residents have to queue for hours to get water from government tanks.

As water levels have dwindled, hotels and restaurants are temporarily shut, and city officials are looking for alternative water sources - but the community continues to pray for rain."

He has also posted about a video showing the waste dump in Delhi which is getting higher than the Taj Mahal. When Hollywood celebreties like Leonardo are concerened about the pressing issues of India , we are still held up with the religious slogans and sentiments. The ministers must prioritize and come up with a solid plan on priority to address these two issue. The news will seek international media's attention too.
