There is a news on the front of the Indian Express that the Jammu and Kashmir administration has sought details of the mosque's mosques by the police. These orders are on 28 July
The newspaper writes that the five SPs of Srinagar have been told that they should provide their information to the mosques and their management of their areas as soon as possible in a closed envelope to their officers.
SSP Haseeb Mughal of Srinagar has confirmed this order and he has called it 'routine execution'.
However, he has also said that timing of this letter is not correct because people are already apprehensive of the order of deploying additional security forces in the valley and their concerns can increase with this letter.
