Cafe Coffee Day founder VG Siddhartha got off his car on a bridge over Netravati river near Mangaluru and walked away, his driver said; he is the son-in-law BJP leader SM Krishna.

Siddhartha went missing last night at the Netravati River. Meanwhile, Sidhartha's letter to Cafe Coffee Day employees came out where he was upset with company's loss. Siddhartha's letter states that he failed as an entrepreneur. The letter also mentions that there was great pressure from the Income Tax department and the company could not make a profit. Siddhartha's letter says that this cannot continue. The search for Siddhartha began last night and is still going on.

The police have launched a massive search operation near the 1-km-long bridge.

Last year, the Enforcement Directorate inspected Siddhartha's institutions.
