Shiv Sena has decided to skip the National Democratic Alliance (NDA)meeting on the eve of the Winter Session of Parliament. Parliament is set to assemble for the Winter Session beginning on Monday, 18 November, Sanjay Raut said only formal announcement need to be made about the split. Devendra Fadnavis offered respect at Thakrey memorial today afternoon, however Shiv sainiks taunted him due to the breakup.
Meanwhile a plea has been filed in the Supreme Court seeking declaration of the post poll alliance among Shiv Sena, NCP & Congress in Maharashtra as "fraud on the electorate". The plea questions the change in stance by Shiv Sena calling it "betrayal of people's trust in the NDA".
Union Minister Ramdas Athawale: I told Amit bhai (BJP President Amit Shah) that if he mediates then a way can be found out to which he (Amit Shah) replied "don't worry, everything will be fine. BJP & Shiv Sena will come together to form government".
