Lokesh Kumar Jangid is a Madhya Pradesh Cadre IAS officer. He has been quite controversial ever since joining the services. In fact, his straight forward nature creates lots of problems for him. He has the ability to call out wrong when he feels so. His strong reaction against Farmer’s agitation of Mandsaur where he severely criticized Congress leaders, including Rahul Gandhi Jyotiraditya Scindia, had attracted attention. Some of his comments were political and against the Conduct Rules of IAS/Civil Services. The BJP Government led by Shiv Raj Singh Chauhan acted against him and he was transferred from SDM post. Soon, he was again given a plum post and this time also he was in news for making a controversial statement on a Whatsapp Group.
Birth Place: Rajasthan. However, he grew up in Nanded, Maharashtra from where he did his schooling.
Educational Qualification: He has done B. Tech with Computer Science. He got placed with TCS in campus placement in 2008. However, he decided to not join and came to New Delhi for preparing Civil Services Examination.His All India Rank was 68 when he finally succeeded in becoming an officer.
