Yogi govt to set up ‘Digital Doctor Clinics’

The Yogi government in Uttar Pradesh has announced plans to set up ‘Digital Doctor Clinics’ in rural areas of the state to improve healthcare access and quality for rural residents. The clinics will function like primary health centers, where patients can consult with doctors online through video conferencing. The clinics will also have qualified health care assistants who will take care of patients and facilitate communication between the doctor and the patient.

The Digital Doctor Clinics will be equipped with the latest technology, including blockchain and artificial intelligence, to provide patients with the best possible care. The clinics will also have access to a network of specialists, so that patients can be referred to the appropriate specialist if needed.

The Yogi government has signed an MoU with the Obdu Group for the implementation of this project. The Obdu Group will invest Rs. 350 crore in the project and will set up 20 Digital Doctor Clinics in Lucknow and Bulandshahr in the first phase. The project is expected to be completed within a year.

The Digital Doctor Clinics are a welcome initiative by the Yogi government. They will help to improve healthcare access and quality for rural residents, who often have to travel long distances to access quality healthcare.
