Thiruvananthapuram: Suresh Gopi, actor and BJP leader, used social media on Saturday to address speculations surrounding the jewelry worn by his daughter, Bhagya Suresh, on her wedding day. In a Facebook post, he clarified that each piece of jewelry adorned by Bhagya was a gift from her parents and grandparents, emphasizing that all items were properly accounted for with invoices and all applicable taxes, including GST, duly paid.

capability to fulfill and manage his responsibilities as a father. The
discussion on social media had sparked a heated debate regarding the
origin of the ornaments worn by Bhagya during her wedding ceremony.

In the light of baseless malicious information spreading in
social media, I would like to clarify that the ornaments that Bhagya was
wearing - every bit - were gifts from her parents and grandparent.
Everything was billed and duly paid with GST and all other taxes. The
designers were from Chennai and Hyderabad, and one material was from
Bhima. Please stop doing this, and emotionally, don’t crack me or my
family. This humble soul is capable of fulfilling and taking care of
these responsibilities.
