In a recent interview, Prashant Kishor, the founder of Jan Suraj
Abhiyan, attributed the Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) electoral
victories to the opposition's failure to unite and mobilise voters,
particularly the youth, who are concerned about job prospects.
Kishor, a well-known political strategist who has collaborated with
various parties, including the BJP, suggested that despite not
addressing youth concerns, the BJP continues to win elections due to a
divided opposition. He emphasized that in the 2019 elections, while
only 38% of voters supported the BJP, the remaining 62% were not
unified, allowing the BJP to capitalize on this disunity.
Kishor's remarks come amidst his launch of Jan Suraj Abhiyan in 2022,
a potential indication of his own political aspirations.
