BHEL Secures Order for 2x800 MW Koderma Supercritical Thermal Power Project

Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has achieved a significant milestone by securing an order to establish a 2x800 MW supercritical thermal power project on an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) basis. The order comes from Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) and pertains to a coal-based project in Koderma district, Jharkhand. Notably, this marks DVC’s first 800 MW project, which will be adjacent to the existing 2x500 MW units previously installed by BHEL.
