Kejriwal Accuses BJP of Electoral Misconduct in Delhi Elections

Delhi, February 6, 2025 - Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of employing unethical tactics during the recently concluded Delhi Assembly Elections. Kejriwal claimed that BJP was involved in "gundagardi" (hooliganism) and vote buying, with allegations of offering ministerial posts and large sums of money to AAP candidates to defect.

In his campaign, Kejriwal urged Delhi voters to support AAP, framing the election as a battle between truth, development, and honesty against BJP's alleged lies, hatred, and fear. He criticized the BJP's governance, particularly under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, for not benefiting the common people of Delhi over the last decade and only favoring their billionaire allies.

Kejriwal also highlighted incidents of BJP workers allegedly attacking AAP MLAs and interfering with voting, describing these actions as violations of human rights. Despite exit polls suggesting a BJP lead, Kejriwal expressed confidence in a surge of support for AAP, hinting at a strong performance by his party.

The official election results are expected to be declared on February 8, 2025, which will clarify the political landscape in Delhi following these contentious elections.
