There is no denying that Maggi is one of India’s most popular
foods. And it proved its popularity, when Snapdeal — an e-tail site — put up
60,000 Maggi WelcomeKits on sale, the entire batch was sold out within 5
minutes.
A couple of days after Maggi made a big comeback following the FSSAI ban, online marketplace Snapdeal had tied up with food major Nestle to re-launch Maggi online, for which
registrations had opened on November 9.
Maggi WelcomeKits on Snapdeal contained 12 packs of Maggi, a 2016 Maggi calendar, a Maggi fridge magnet, Maggi post cards and a 'Welcome Back' letter from their favorite instant noodles.

“There has been much anticipation for the
return of one of the favourite Indian brands and we are delighted to be the
exclusive online partner to deliver Maggi back to the customers. We have
witnessed a phenomenal response to this sale from customers across the country.
We are happy to make this Diwali truly special for them,” says Tony Navin,
Senior Vice President, Partnerships and Strategic initiatives Snapdeal.
A
new batch of Maggi WelcomeKits will be on sale from 16th November.
