SSC GD 2018-19: The recruitment for 54,953 posts of SSC GD 2018-19 has begun and candidates who are interested may visit the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) official website- ssconline.nic.in. The recruitment will be for the following posts- of Constable (General Duty) in Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), National Investigation Agency (NIA) and Secretariat Security Force (SSF) and Rifleman (General Duty) in Assam Rifles.Interested candidates are advised to apply latest by August 20. While the minimum age of the candidate is 19 years, the maximum age is 23 years. However, age relaxation is there for reserved category candidates.
Steps to apply for various posts under SSC GD 2018-19:

Step 1: Log on to the official website- ssconline.nic.in.

Step 2: On the home page, click on the link which reads- ‘SSC GD 2018-19’.

Step 3: Click on the post you would wish to apply for.

Step 4: Enter your details and click on submit.

Step 5: Pay the application fees of Rs. 100 through SBI Challan/ SBI Net Banking, Visa, Master Card, Maestro Credit or Debit Card.

Step 6: Take a print out of the filled form for future reference.

Candidates must note that the minimum educational qualification required is that an individual should hold a degree of graduation or diploma or 10th pass from a recognised board or educational institute. To qualify for the exam, candidates will need to pass the Physical Efficiency Test, Written examination and Medical Test.

It must be noted that the candidates need to be well prepared for the written test in subjects like- General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Knowledge and General Awareness, Elementary Mathematics and English or Hindi
