All those participating in the protests are protesting with their right eyes closed. The woman, who was involved in the protest, had lost her right eye during a shootout by Hong Kong police. Since then, protesters in Hong Kong have started taking part in protests with their right eyes closed. Hong Kong has already used symbols for protests. The symbol was the 'yellow umbrella' for the first 72 days of protests against China. The present protests are single-eyed.
