New Delhi: Rajdeep has lashed out at BJP MP for proposing to rename Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) as a Modi Narendra University. The next thing that needs to be changed is the name of India Gate, ”he wrote on Twitter.
Hans Raj Hans, MP from North West Delhi, proposed during his visit to JNU that the JNU should be changed to MNU (Modi Narendra University). JNU was founded in 1969 as one of the best universities in the country. The university is named after Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of India.
Hans Raj argues that Narendra Modi and his government have done a lot of good things for the country and that JNU should be named as Modi Narendra University in recognition of his contributions.
Hans Raj was speaking to the JNU on the issue of repealing Article 370 in Kashmir. We are now facing the wrong of our ancestors. Made a mistake on the Kashmir issue. That mistake is corrected. Narendra Modi and his government have done many things for the country. It was argued that the JNU should be named as Modi Narendra University for his contributions.
BJP MP Hans Raj Hans: JNU should be renamed as MNU, Modi Narendra University.. maybe India Gate next? 😄https://t.co/3Goj9lPZ8t— Rajdeep Sardesai (@sardesairajdeep) August 18, 2019
