Justice V Eswaraiah appointed AP's first Higher Education Judicial Commission chairman

The AP government on Thursday appointed former AP high Court Judge, Justice V Eswaraiah as chairman of the AP higher education regulatory and monitoring commission. Justice Eswaraiah started his stint with Justice wing as an advocate and later became a government pleader before being elevated as a judge of composite AP high court where he served as a judge and Acting Chief Justice for 14 years from 1999 to 2013. He created a record of sorts by delivering judgements in as many as 69,000 cases during this period
