To update Aadhaar Card, you can follow the steps below:
Visit the official UIDAI website: Go to the UIDAI website (https://uidai.gov.in/) and click on the "Update Aadhaar Details" link on the home page.
Login: Enter your Aadhaar number and click on "Send OTP" to receive an OTP on your registered mobile number or email ID. Enter the OTP and click on "Login".
Select the field you want to update: Select the field you want to update (e.g. name, date of birth, gender, address, mobile number, etc.) and click on "Submit".
Upload the supporting documents: Upload the supporting documents for the update. For example, if you want to update your address, you need to upload a copy of your address proof (e.g. passport, utility bill, bank statement, etc.). You can refer to the list of accepted documents on the UIDAI website.
Review and submit: Review the details you have entered and the supporting documents you have uploaded. If everything is correct, click on "Submit".
Update request number: After submitting the update request, you will receive an Update Request Number (URN). You can use this number to track the status of your update request.
Once your request is processed, you will receive a new Aadhaar card with the updated details. It usually takes up to 90 days for the update to reflect in your Aadhaar card.
