The upcoming Karnataka assembly elections will be a significant challenge for Mallikarjun Karge, the President of the Congress party, to prove his leadership abilities. The dates are likely to be announced by Election commission in March 26 or 27th.
Karge is who is the current president of the Indian National Congress, and Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha from Karnataka since 16 February 2021. He became the first person outside the Nehru–Gandhi family to be the president of the party after 24 years.
