Kavitha rallies 18 political parties for Women's Reservation Bill ahead of ED inquiry in Delhi liquor scam
K.Kavitha, daughter of Chief Minister K.Chandrashekar Rao and BRS MLC, has garnered support from 18 political parties and women's organizations ahead of the Enforcement Directorate's inquiry into the Delhi liquor scam. She is leading a protest on Friday at Jantar Mantar in Delhi, demanding the introduction of the Women's Reservation Bill in the current Parliament session. Despite the Delhi police asking Kavitha to change the venue due to the BJP's rally against the Delhi liquor scam at the same venue, Kavitha's rally will take place. Kavitha stated that over 500 people would go on hunger strike, and over 6,000 have confirmed their presence at the rally. She also criticized the BJP-led government at the Centre for using central investigating agencies to target the BRS and evading investigation agencies in the BRS MLAs poaching case.
