Looks like something new is coming for former state Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan by the party high command. It is believed that he will soon be given big responsibility at the Centre. Its indications have been given publicly by party president JP Nadda himself. It is believed that he can be made a cabinet minister at the Centre. In fact, Narendra Singh Tomar, who recently became an MLA after contesting the assembly elections, has been made the new Assembly Speaker by the party. Because of this he has recently resigned from the post of MP.
There is a possibility that Chauhan may be made the Agriculture Minister in place of Tomar in the Modi cabinet. In fact, during his tenure as CM, Chauhan has made many innovations in the agriculture sector, which have been appreciated many times at the central government level.
For this, the Union Cabinet can be reconstituted. Apart from this, another leader of the state, Vishnu Dutt Sharma is also likely to be made a minister at the Centre. The central leadership of BJP is said to be happy with Sharma's efficient management in the assembly elections. In fact, among the ministers of Modi cabinet who had contested the elections, Narendra Singh Tomar and Prahlad Patel from the state have already submitted their resignation letters. At present the portfolios of these two leaders have been given to other ministers.
