While preparation for the civil services exam can be daunting, figuring out what to study can be a tougher task. To simplify this, a new web initiative called 'Steel frame of India' has been launched for UPSC and other government exam aspirants. Separating the wheat from the chaff, this website will cull out study material from different news portals and government channels — like Rajya Sabha TV, Press Information Bureau (PIB) etc. This will be analysed and grouped into 2 categories — facts and analysis — which will be hosted everyday on its portal www.steelframeofindia.org
While the former will help with preliminary exam, the latter aims to aid with prep students for the mains. Short video tutorials to aid with preparation, and coach aspirants in the last stage of the exam, the personal interview round, will also be uploaded in the coming months. "The biggest challenge when preparing for UPSC exam is not knowing how to study. While several platforms tell you what exactly to study, we are trying to make it even easier by coaching students on how to go about studying that, on a daily basis across exam topics," said Israel Jebasingh, former IAS and Founder of Officers IAS Academy which has launched the platform.
