A bottle was thrown at singer Kailash Kher during a concert in Hampi, Karnataka on Sunday, reportedly due to anger from the audience over the singer only singing Hindi songs. Two locals, Pradeep (22) and Surah (21), were arrested and their statements have been recorded by police. The incident occurred at the closing ceremony of the Hampi Utsav, a three-day festival organized by the Karnataka government to celebrate the heritage of the former Vijayanagara Empire. Despite the bottle narrowly missing him, Kher continued his performance without distraction.
